Day of Love

John got me some flowers before he left so I have been enjoying those- and he requested that I take a picture!



Today Caleb got some new wooden toys that he took pride in painting. He has been carrying them all over the house and continually tells me that he painted them - so proud. He had a messy time making cookies and eating his suckers today as well. He got a little carried away with the sprinkles as you will see. I think at one point he was looking at the bottle of sprinkles so intently I thought he might be checking it for MSG :) We had such a great time today just chilling in the house. To top the night off we ordered a pizza - you know me trying to eat healthy :)









This just cracks me up - look at this icing mustache!

Our Big Boy Bed

Caleb is really enjoying his "big boy bed", especially since he can do a running start and jump into the bed. I thought transitioning to the toddler bed was going to be a horribly - sleep deprived - step, but it has been anything but that. If every child we have is this easy we might just have a few more :)

The McKinney Family

One of the many blessings we have had since being here in Springfield has been getting to know the Thomas Family. What a joy this has been, and we cannot wait until summer when we find out what the "stork" has in store for them. Will it be a boy or girl? I am so excited!
