Shelby's SENIOR Snapshots

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Shelby and her family this past weekend as we desperately tried to beat the impending weather for her senior photo-shoot. I truly felt honored to be given the opportunity to do Shelby's senior photos once I found out they drove an hour and a half from Crocker just to get here! Thankfully the weather turned out to be perfect, just like the entire photo-shoot.

We ventured into downtown Springfield at about noon on Saturday and began taking pictures on every bright colored wall and in every doorway we could find. Shelby's ability to "go with the moment", her creativity, and my camera made for a good combination throughout the day, and I couldn't be happier with her photos. In addition to the wonderful weather we ended up having, Shelby and her parents' care free attitude and constant laughter created a fantastic atmosphere that added so much fun to the day that it did not even seem like I was working!

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

  1. Thank you so much for making this a truly delightful experience. The moment you walked up to the first wall we knew you were going to be able to capture Shelby's personality.

We had a great time just watching the two of you collaborating your next shots...seeking out that perfect doorway and staircase.

I know it was tough having to work with Shelby's "failure to
launch"...she really needs to work on her jumping skills. We see you were able to capture at least one of her attempts.

She was overjoyed when she received the previews that evening as she sat with her blistered, bandaged feet propped on her desk.

You made the one and a half hour drive truly worth every mile.

    Thank you for Everything!
